The new England national soccer team manager Fabio Capello of Italy smiles during his first day at work at the English Football Association (FA) headquarters in London, Monday Jan. 7, 2008. The Football Association hired Capello a month ago after firing Steve McClaren who failed to get England to Euro 2008. The Italian's first game in charge will be a friendly against Switzerland Feb. 6 and, although he officially sits behind his desk for the first time on Monday, he went to FA Cup games Aston Villa against Manchester United and Luton versus Liverpool over the weekend.
